The Baby R.A.M has been the ultimat epassive-monitoring system for the past 8 years, delivering the most transparent signal with the best stereo imaging of any other passive designs available!A Baby R.A.M is the ultimate controller for total transparency— a zero-compromise signal path, paired with a simplified control
set ensures your monitors receive the cleanest, purest signal possible without unnecessary complications.
Even though the Baby R.A.M packs a zero-compromise circuit design, it couldn’t be any easier to use with 2 pairs of stereo inputs and outputs— both balanced and ground free (unbalanced compatible) on gold-plated TRS1/4 ̈jacks.
Mute,Dim,Mono, and Volume monitoring controls make the Baby R.A.M a breeze to
work with. And with its passive design,it also means you have no concerns with bad power supplies,as no electrical current is needed!
We gave our engineers what sounded like a simple brief:improve the Baby R.A.M for our 15th anniversary. But in a world where technology moves fast, somethings don’t benefit from change.Apure, passive design built
with top-tier components—like the Baby R.A.M—doesn’t get more transparent than 100% transparency. And you can’t meaning fully improve the usability of a category-defining,best-selling monitor controller that’s
already proven it self for several years now.
So what was left to do?
We went through every photo, every comment, every review we could find and the only recurring criticism of the BabyR.A.M had nothing to do with performance:It was the look.
While the originalBabyR.A.M proudly channels the spirit of classic vintage consoles—withits RAF blue-grey metal work and oversized, irresistibly smooth Marconi knob—not everyone connected with that aesthetic.
Clad in a deep black finish, this edition stepsaway from the blue-grey,vintage-console nostalgia, opting for a cleaner, more modern and smarter look.To match the satisfying feeling of a Marconi knob,we’ve use ran
equally satisfying RCA type black knob and,of course, the same perfectly stepped attenuator that made the Baby R.A.M the legend it is.
