SAT 500 is a single channel module in 500 format fitted with a saturation circuit, which adds low
\norder harmonics and smoothly evens the signal, all in an amazingly musical and ear friendly
\nway. It can significantly increase the RMS level. The sound refers to old tube mixing consoles
\nand tape recorders.
\nSAT 500 is equipped with unique solutions shaping the content of harmonics in the processed
\nsignal.
\nThe depth of saturation is smoothly controlled with the DRIVE knob. SAT 500 features
\nan independent control over DRY and WET signal.
\nThe depth of saturation (the amount of added harmonics) is indicated by two LEDs, lighting
\nup at 4 and 8% THD.<\/p>\n

\nThe HI SMOOTH function boost high frequencies before the saturation system and attenuate
\nthem after the saturation system. This function causes a higher saturation of high frequencies
\nwith harmonics, which causes smoothing of the signal and pleasant compression for the ear.
\nThe LO SAFE function reduces the low-frequency amplitude before the saturation system and
\nboost it after the saturation system. This function \u00abprotects\u00bb the lowest frequencies before the
\nfast clipping and is invaluable especially for instruments with a high content of low frequencies
