The Looptrotter Monster Compressor MK2 consists of\u00a0three independent devices of\u00a0an original design in\u00a0one piece:<\/p>\n

\u2022 mixer of\u00a0dry and wet signal.<\/p>\n

The combination of\u00a0those modules gave the creative tool with great versatility, able to:<\/p>\n

\u2022 process the subgroups<\/p>\n

\u2022 master<\/p>\n

The Looptrotter Monster Compressor is\u00a0a\u00a0device with a\u00a0\u201ccharacter\u201d. It\u00a0was designed to\u00a0complement the \u201csoulless\u201d, \u201csuper clean\u201d digital technology. The compression module evens the signal in\u00a0a\u00a0very musical way, before the tube saturation. The unique combination of\u00a0compression and tube saturation makes the sound seem distinctly closer, every detail stand out and gives the energy to\u00a0the processed sound. It\u00a0makes the sound more tactile and ear friendly.<\/p>\n

The Looptrotter Monster Compressor is\u00a0built with the use of\u00a0the best pieces of\u00a0analog technology available. Within the highest quality minimalistic signal path there are integrated circuits, discreet circuits and electron tubes. The symmetrization and de-symmetrization circuits provide the neutrality of\u00a0the sound, and those are based on\u00a0integrated circuits dedicated to\u00a0sound processing. The output of\u00a0Monster Compressor is\u00a0secured with capacitors also designed for sound.<\/p>\n

FET transistor is\u00a0responsible for sound reduction and it\u2019s optimized for adding low frequency harmonics. In\u00a0its non-linear characteristics it\u00a0reminds the electron tubes, so\u00a0even with the deep compression the sound is\u00a0close and detailed.<\/p>\n

The amplification of\u00a0the sound after the FET transistor is\u00a0handled by\u00a0the high quality operational amplifier build of\u00a0discreet elements. The compressor\u2019s signal path is\u00a0rid of\u00a0capacitors.<\/p>\n

In the saturation circuit there are military grade electron tubes with a\u00a0prolonged longevity (NOS). The unique feature of\u00a0Monster Compressor is\u00a0the option of\u00a0boosting the even harmonics added by\u00a0the tubes (2nd BOOST), especially handy during extreme processing of\u00a0tracks and subgroups.<\/p>\n

The MIX option is\u00a0based on\u00a0integrated circuits dedicated to\u00a0sound processing. This makes it\u00a0sound neutral, but widens the application of\u00a0Monster Compressor.<\/p>\n

All parameters except the tube saturation are being controlled with switches. It\u00a0guarantees the even processing of\u00a0both channels, which is\u00a0essential in\u00a0working with stereo and very handy in\u00a0case of\u00a0recalling settings fast.<\/p>\n
