The sound of The 1973 starts with the S23 capsule<\/b>, the same original Soyuz capsule design found in the larger Soyuz 023 Bomblet.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the classic designs of LOMO and AKG in the early 70\u2019s, the S23 reimagines the legendary CK12 with a custom triple-back-plate system and center-terminated design. This innovation helps give the 1973 its deep low-end, pronounced midrange, and pleasing top end that flatters high-frequency sources rather than exaggerating them.<\/p>\n

THE RESONATOR<\/b><\/h3>\n

Inside the 1973 is a custom-machined resonator<\/b> designed to reduce unwanted internal resonance while adding a degree of plosive protection.<\/p>\n
