Range
\nWith the Range control, the frequency range which
\nshould be processed can be selected.<\/p>\n
Stage
\nWith the Stage control, the frequency range previously selected
\nwith the Range control can be moved backwards or forwards on
\nthe stereo stage.<\/p>\n
Bigness
\nThe Bigness control adjusts the intensity
\nof the stereo image shaping.<\/p>\n
Black magic?
\nIn BiG [Studio] a diff erence signal derived from the input signal is
\nprocessed by an analog filter network before mixed back to the original
\nsignal in a special mixing stage. This is not M\/S processing but a
\ncompletely diff erent and new way of stereo-processing.
\nThe processed stereo signal, when summed to mono, creates a
\nclean mono signal without phase shifts, cancellations, or other
\nunwanted artifacts.<\/p>\n

Tube Harmonics
\nThe Tube Harmonics control adjusts the intensity
\nof the harmonics generated in the tube.<\/p>\n
Harmonics
\nWhen the Harmonics switch is activated, the tube circuit which
\ngenerates harmonics is in the signal path.
\nIf this switch flashes, the device is in \u201cwarm-up\u201d mode.
\nThe tubes are being brought to the optimum operating
\ntemperature<\/p>\n
More bass!
\nThe bass switch can be used to activate an additional bass boost
\nat the end of the BiG [Studio] processing chain.
\nThe bass boost is performed by a filter similar to the one
\nused in the AirBass function of the SPL IRON Mastering Compressor.<\/p>\n

PWR
\nThe PWR LED indicates that BiG [Studio] is powered
\nand that the device is switched on via the On switch
\non the rear of the device and is ready for operation.<\/p>\n
On
\nThe On switch activates BiG [Studio].
\nWhen activated, the switch lights up.
\nIf the device is in bypass mode,
\nthe switch is not illuminated.<\/p>\n
Inputs and outputs<\/p>\n
All inputs and outputs of the BiG [Studio] are equipped with Neutrik XLR sockets with gold-plated contacts
\nand Neutrik TRS sockets. The XLR and jack sockets are connected in parallel.
\nSignal transmission is electronically balanced at a nominal level of +6 dB.<\/p>\n
Ground
\nThe ground switch on the rear panel of the BiG [Studio] can be
\nused to eliminate ground loops by disconnecting the internal
\nground from the housing ground when the switch is pressed.<\/p>\n
