A DESIGN THAT HAS BEEN 15 YEARS IN THE MAKING
\nWhile passive DI boxes are often seen as dongles or adapters, we prefer to see them as a
\nstorefront display window: your goods might be the best available but you need a glass that is
\nclean, transparent and unscratched so your goods can shine and be appreciated. The less you
\nnotice it, the better. That is why we\u2019ve decided to create our own DI boxes based on 15 years of
\nR&D, tests, failures and successes.
\nIt would have been impossible to deliver the superior clean passive design of the P DI ONE and
\nP DI 2 if we hadn\u2019t already mastered transparent passive signal handling with our R.A.M monitor
\ncontroller series, specifically with the Baby R.A.M, the undefeated category leader for almost a
\ndecade now.
\nTransformers are the main ingredient on any high-level passive DI and the only way to master
\nthe transformer world is pure experience. We\u2019ve spent the last 15 years designing custom-made
\ntransformers with almost every reputable manufacturer in the world, thoroughly measuring
\ndifferent alloys to perfectly adjust the response to what each particular design requires and
\nfinally, we found the best one for the job, the HA-DI. It has the ideal combination of a nickel core
\nfor an ultra-transparent signal transfer and MU Metal shielding for protection against any
\nunwanted noise or interference caused by outside sources.
\nTHE BEST THING ABOUT A PASSIVE D.I. IS FORGETTING THAT IT \u0301S EVEN THERE
\nThe P DI ONE and P DI 2 work best with active circuit instruments like keyboards, synths, drum
\nmachines, samplers and some guitars and basses, when they are required to be plugged into a
\nPA or recording system. By matching the instrument\u2019s output level to a typical microphone level,
\nconverting it to a balanced signal and minimising noise, you can be sure you\u2019ll achieve the
\nstrongest, clearest signal possible.

\nThanks to its passive, power-free design, the P DI ONE and P DI 2 converts the impedance
\nfrom high to low and balances the signal using a magnetic transformer that transfers audio while
\nblocking unwanted DC voltage and RFI. This makes it especially effective at eliminating hum
\nand buzz from ground loops while maintaining the tone of your instrument at every stage.
