The connection between preamp box and controller requires only one standard XLR cable so it’s very convenient in use. Gain circuit uses photo cells to control the levels so there is full separation between audio path and remote signal.

RP-2 preamp offers massive, dynamic sound with lots of sonic details.
It’s great for all types of mics, especially ribbons because of very low self-noise.

Features

FULLY DISCRETE CLASS-A DUAL-CHANNEL MIC PREAMP

VERY LOW SELF-NOISE

REMOTE-CONTROLLED VIA STANDARD XLR CABLE

AIR BOOST PULTEC STYLE HIGH FREQUENCY BOOSTER

TRANSFORMER BALANCED

ADDITIONAL HIGH IMPEDANCE INSTRUMENT/LINE TRS INPUTS

TRANSFORMER BASED

M/S DECODER

ANTI-THUMP PHANTOM POWER SWITCHING SYSTEM

THD+N: 0,027% AT 60DB GAIN

PHANTOM POWER +48V

PAD -20DB

M/S MATRIX Passive transformer based M/S to Stereo decoder

LOW CUT FILTER 50HZ (6DB/OCT)

AC MAINS POWER INTERNALLY SWITCHABLE 240V/120V (50HZ – 60HZ)

FREQUENCY RESPONCE: 20HZ – 50KHZ (+/-0,4DB)

ADDITIONAL HIGH IMPEDANCE INSTRUMENT/LINE TRS INPUTS

AIR BOOST Passive Pultec Style shelf high frequency booster

GAIN RANGE 20DB – 60DB

PHASE INVERSION

CUSTOM MADE CABLES

Components

RP-2 Preamps

RP-2 Remote Control Unit

RP-2 Power Supply Unit

Custom made cables (remote, psu, mains)

Mic head dust protection cover

Flight case

[843

1025,1028,1029
844,845,846,847
post-17931","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","pwb-brand-hum_audio_devices","product_cat-cableado-patchbays-y-accesorios","product_cat-microfonos","product_cat-preamplificadores-y-canales","product_tag-hum","product_tag-microfonos-de-cinta","product_tag-preamplificadores","product_tag-rs-2","first","onbackorder","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
