The MEQP-1A Plus is a Mono 1:1 replica of the most beloved Tube Equalizer in the world, the\u00a0Pultec\u00a0EQP-1A. It also features the mid band of the famous Pultec MEQ-5 featuring both boost and attenuation control.<\/p>\n

The MEQP-1A+ uses three Sowter Audio transformers made in the UK, a US made 2503 style output transformer and three tubes including a 6X4 tube on the power supply famous for its \u201csag\u201d on these units. Sowter transformers, though expensive, far exceed any other offering when it comes to low end, sonic timbre and the unique frequency response that faithfully reproduce the tone of a vintage unit.<\/p>\n
