Like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transaudiogroup.com\/products\/daking\/mic-pre-one\/\">Mic Pre One<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transaudiogroup.com\/products\/daking\/mic-preeq\/\">Mic Pre EQ<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transaudiogroup.com\/products\/daking\/mic-pre-iv\/\">Mic Pre IV<\/a>, the Daking Mic Pre II circuitry is based on a classic console design of the \u201980s with some upgrades: Variable High Pass Filters on each channel, Jensen input transformers, class \u201cA\u201d amplification, extremely high headroom (+24) and a single-sided 48V power supply.<\/p>\n<p>The Mic Pre II\u2019s high pass filter is continuously variable from 10-200Hz, and drops at 12dB per octave. It seems\u00a0to have a magical ability to clean up the muck while making what remains sound even better.
