«License Manager
A great improvement is that all software activation, installation and updating is now managed with the BeatRig License Manager (a picture is at the bottom of this message). The License Manager also provides an easy automated way to de-authorise so you can move your licenses across computers. For more information about the License Manager, click here:

You can just download the License Manager and use your old serial. Mark that LevelOne and LevelView are now sold as single seat licenses but old customers like you still have two installs on their serial. If you have questions about the move of your account to BeatRig, check this:

New PLR feature in LevelView
We’ve made minor improvements to most software but since your current version is still EBU/ATSC compliant there’s no direct need to update. There is one exception: upon request of famous mastering engineer Bob Katz we decided to add an indication of the ‘Peak to Loudness Ratio’ – PLR – to LevelView and LevelViewS. When peaks do not reach full scale, PLR is a good indication of the microdynamics of the audio. A picture of LevelView is included in Bob Katz’ latest edition of his well known book “Mastering Audio – the art and the science”, on page 259.
We are convinced that the improvements in the buying and licensing process offer a much better experience for you as a customer. We hope this helps you to continue enjoying our software! LevelNorm brings the loudness normalization revolution right into your Avid workstation. This AudioSuite plugin is equally suited for Protools, Media Composer and News Cutter systems. Compliance to EBU R128, ATSC A/85 and CALM act requirements has never been so fast, easy and affordable!
Avid Protools, Media Composer and News Cutter users can now enjoy super fast EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 loudness normalisation.
The user interface of LevelNorm is kept as simple as possible so R128 compliance can now be achieved by audio experts as well as video editors with limited audio engineering skills. Normalizing a piece of mono, stereo or multichannel audio is as easy as selecting the region of interest and clicking the ‘process‘ button. Application is not limited to finalize a mix for broadcast, but also aids in matching levels of different recordings while editing or even prepare tracks with a preset loudness offset. The high processing speed of LevelNorm fits perfectly in a hectic production environment with tight deadlines like news item editing.
Try LevelNorm today and discover that loudness control is just one click away.
