Analog Equalizer in the Game
Based on the classic Sontec EQ design, ME-250DX has a smooth response curve that always remains musical. No matter how far you push it, the track never sounds processed. Thanks to the expensive all-discrete opamps, it preserves the subtleties of sound in full.
We strongly recommend to try cleaning/sweeping. Its advantage over software becomes prominent to all ears beyond 6dB.
The Unrivaled Circuitry Build
We have redesigned all the circuitry, and included 12 all-discrete opamps inside. Compared with the traditional IC opamps, the all-discrete opamps offer unrivaled bandwidth and dynamics. The circuitry is composed of precision transistors that are accurate to 1% throughout, with multiple layers.
Even without any noticeable colourisation, you can still immerse yourself in the beauty of analog.
M/S Encoder/Decoder Onboard
We acknowledge and agree that M/S processing is essential for many engineers’ workflows. Therefore, we installed a premium full analog M/S encoder/decoder, which is all made with THAT chips, into ME-250DX.
In M/S mode, the channel on the left becomes the mid channel, while the channel on the right becomes the side channel. You can also bypass the entire channel in either M/S mode or Left/Right mode.
Precisely Matched to <1%
Each unit takes days to stereo-match by hand. We make sure every step and frequency point is accurate to less than 1% for mastering standards.
When tested with Audio Precision or other tools, the curves will precisely merge as one.

Independent linear power supply
Each channel receives its own 56V high-voltage linear power supply. Such timeless power solution has been proven to be the bedrock of a clear and punchy sound. It helps handle a higher dynamic range, offers more headroom, and reduces noise effectively.
Effective and precise
Each band has its own toggle switch to bypass, to select a ±5dB range (×1), or a ±10dB range (×2). At the ±5dB position, the increment of gain knob is as fine as 0.5dB. At the ±10dB position, the increment is 1dB.
Each band per channel marks a unique set of frequency points, collectively forming over 100 frequency points.
Both gain knobs and frequency knobs are custom-made with 21 steps.
The Q knobs at the top also have 12 steps between 0.6 and 4, with the iconic shelf option on the Low band and the High band.
